The Nomad's Curse

Story Synopsis

   Nomad is a loner who doesn't make true connections to other people.  One day he wakes up in a strange village, with no recollection how he got there.   After stumbling across a demon at a local tavern, he discovers he and others from across different times and worlds have been drawn into a sick demon game meant to torment them.  Nomad decides he must find a way to escape this vile game and find out why he has been cursed.  Can he save himself, and maybe the others, from this dreadful fate?

About the Game

     The Nomad’s Curse is a turn-based role-playing game that also uses escape room elements.  The player controls Nomad and must find a way to escape various areas that are sealed by a curse.  Some areas have dungeons, that include enemy mobs and boss battles.  Each party member has strengths and weaknesses and specializes in certain weapons.   This game has multiple endings depending on the path the player chooses.  The difficulty of this title is dependent entirely on the player’s choices. 

     Player choices have an enormous impact on the gameplay and story.   Choices can cause players to gain or lose allies, avoid, or begin combat, or help receive helpful items and bonuses from NPCs.  Keeping this in mind, the game experience is designed to adapt to the player’s gaming preferences.  Players can take in as much or as little of the story as they wish, play strictly for the combat, or explore every corner of each area.

     Looking for an even bigger challenge? Try Hardcore Mode! Hardcore Mode introduces rougelike elements into the game.  Permadeath is enabled, meaning once a party member dies they cannot be revived. Saving is turned off, meaning it's all or nothing on breaking the curse!

     They're are many secrets and easter eggs to discover, so be sure to check and double-check with NPCs and objects, especially if you add a new party member!
